Norfolk Magazine Feature - September 2009

28th August 2009
The Norfolk magazine is featuring a double page spread of Julia's images that will be included within a new charity calendar to be launched in October this year.

Over the past year, Julia has been working with Norfolk charity, Keeping Abreast, a support group for women undergoing, planning or considering breast reconstruction following breast cancer.

During the planning of the May Ball this year, discussions moved on to other areas that all-about-image could provide fund-raising support. A calendar was a natural choice due to the need for some creative photography.

The calendar features women from the group who have undergone or are in the process of the surgery themselves. And to add an additional twist to the original "Calendar Girls" theme, Julia suggested that local businesses could sponsor a page and be featured as the theme or backdrop for each image.

Businesses were keen to sign-up and include Woodfordes Brewery, House of Fraser, Jack's Jewellers, The Hat Shop and The Value Car Centre.

Calendars will be on sale from October 1st when they will be launched at the Keeping Abreast Fashion Show at St Andrew's Hall.
